Law & Cyber provides legal advice and cyber resilience services
Cyber risk is complex, and knowing where to even start can be overwhelming. For professionals, cyber risk can include funds transfer frauds impacting you or your clients, a wide range of losses that can occur from inadvertent breaches of professional duties or privacy legislation and significant business interruption costs.
Cyber events can damage or even destroy businesses, professional reputations and brands.
We offer a range of services to support your business or association in preventing cyber incidents and privacy breaches, via awareness raising and education, recommended processes, incident preparation and response and advice on insurance policy wording and claims.
Law & Cyber’s director, Simone Herbert-Lowe, has more than 20 years of experience in managing legal claims against professionals, with a focus over the last five years on strategy and cyber risk. Having acted for individuals impacted by cyber crime she founded Law & Cyber to provide legal advice and cyber resilience advice for professionals and other businesses.
Simone’s areas of legal practice include insurance, professional liability and ethics, dispute resolution, and privacy. Through her previous roles as Manager, Strategy & Innovation, and Senior Claims Solicitor at Lawcover, the professional indemnity insurer for NSW law practices, Simone managed over 2000 notifications involving claims and potential claims against lawyers.
